It is November and a stormy shower is approaching the now, quiet beach of Georgioupoli, Apokoronas, Crete. Rain can be seen falling in the distance but the sun still lights the sea. This is not how tourists and visitors see the sandy beach but the dark clouds will soon pass and the headland near Kefalas will soon be in sunshine

About David Capon
I live on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. It is from the island's scenery, people, wildlife, history and culture that I get much inspiration. I am not only a professional artist but also an art tutor and demonstrator.I provide a workshop at Plaka (Apokorono) on most Sundays and visitors are welcome. The workshops are suitable for advanced painters or beginners and are carried out in an informal and friendly basis. Tuition in oils or for larger paintings or on a one-to-one basis is carried out in the studio.
