The Venetian Harbour at Chania on the island of Crete in the Mediterranean. The view is towards the Firka and the Nautical Musuem. Painted in September while the tourist season kept the harbour busy. For people who have been to Crete this view will bring back many memories of dining alongside a pretty harbour.

About David Capon
I live on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. It is from the island's scenery, people, wildlife, history and culture that I get much inspiration. I am not only a professional artist but also an art tutor and demonstrator.I provide a workshop at Plaka (Apokorono) on most Sundays and visitors are welcome. The workshops are suitable for advanced painters or beginners and are carried out in an informal and friendly basis. Tuition in oils or for larger paintings or on a one-to-one basis is carried out in the studio.
