Artist's Description
An updated painting of Chania harbour showing the Mosque of the Janissaries and life around the harbour during 2014. One of the most famous and most attractive harbours in the Mediterranean, this is a magnet for visitors to the city. Horses transport people around the Old Town with its old buildings and interesting architecture. The boats take people outside the harbour area and evening cruises are popular during the holiday season. Tavernas line the harbour front allowing for drinks and food while people watch the life of the harbour.

About David Capon
I live on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. It is from the island's scenery, people, wildlife, history and culture that I get much inspiration.
