View of the Venetian harbour at Chania, Crete looking eastwards. In the far distance are the foothills of the White Mountains. Visitors are walking round the harbour, taking coffee at the many tavernas or boarding boats for trips around the local coast. Others are enjoying a ride on one of the horse carriages and to the left is the beautiful Mosque - now used as an exhibition venue.

I live on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. It is from the island's scenery, people, wildlife, history and culture that I get much inspiration. I am not only a professional artist but also an art tutor and demonstrator.I provide a workshop at Plaka (Apokorono) on most Sundays and visitors are welcome. The workshops are suitable for advanced painters or beginners and are carried out in an informal and friendly basis.
