Artist's Description

It is early April and early morning. One of the small fleet of small fishing boats is returning to the harbour at Georgioupoli (with the White Mountains in the distance) with its catch. The fish will be sold at the harbour and then any damage to the nets will be repaired. Many visitors to this area miss the traditional work carried out early in the morning. There is still snow on the mountain tops.

About David Capon

David Capon

I live on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. It is from the island's scenery, people, wildlife, history and culture that I get much inspiration.
